Not only was Gorgeous the most-awarded UK production company of last year, but Chris Palmer made some of the most talked-about ads.
And in a year in which a number of excellent commercials made advertising talked about again, Chris Palmer's reel stood head and shoulders above all others.
Gorgeous' awards success, which saw it placed seventh in the Cannes Lions Palme d'Or rankings (the highest-placed UK production company) led to third place in the 2007 Gunn Report.
Chris Palmer's 'baking of Fabia' for Skoda swept the board at the BTA Craft Awards and stands to do the business again at this year's BTAA. Should that be the case, Palmer will achieve a rare double: at last year's BTAA he took home three golds for the Carlsberg 'Old Lions' campaign and the Chairman's Lifetime Achievement Award.
